What is Wickford BID?

Wickford BID is a business-led partnership formed to invest in the management, marketing, and development of Wickford’s commercial area. It’s governed by legislation to ensure fairness and transparency, and was created through consultation with local businesses.

Following a successful ballot in late 2024, the BID officially launched in January 2025.

We were founded with a clear mission: Boost the local economy by attracting more footfall and investment. Create a vibrant, welcoming town centre that reflects Wickford’s unique identity. Support local businesses through coordinated marketing, events, and improvements. Foster community pride and make Wickford a destination for residents and visitors.
